Henin 3/1 To Win Ladies Title Down Under

TENNIS BETTING: Former world number 1 Justine Henin is 3/1 with Boylesports to win the Australian Open after a hard fought victory in the last 16. Serena Williams is the 9/5 favourite with the same firm.

The Belgian needed three sets to beat Yanina Wickmayer 7-6 1-6 6-3 and is 2/5 at Stan James to win her quarter final match against Nadia Petrova at midnight on Monday.

Petroa is 5/2 with Sportingbet to get through to the last four after her win over third seed Svetlana Kuznetsova and 14/1 at Bwin to win the competition.

Reigning champion Serena is 1/8 at Paddy Power to beat Samantha Stosur (25/4 bwin) at 3am on Monday morning whilst sister Venus (15/2 to win the tournament with Betfred) plays around midnight and is 2/9 with Ladbrokes to beat 888sports 7/2 shot Francesca Schiavone.
