POLITICAL BETTING: Coral bookmakers have been knocked over in the rush to back a June General Election date, cutting the price from 20-1 into 10-1.
The Barking based firm have seen thousands of pounds gambled today alone, and added to previous bets taken, it all adds up to a six figure pay out.
June is now the biggest gamble we have seen on this market, and as a lot of the busy was in and around Central London, it would be no surprise if its a summer Election, said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.
May is still the odd-on favourite, but is now out to 4-9, having been as short as 1-10.
The Tories are the red hot 1-12 favourites to win the most seats, whichever month the election takes place.
