POLITICAL BETTING: Coral has suspended betting on the date of the next General Election, after the Defence Secretary Bob Ainsworth appeared to confirm the country will go to the polls on May 6th.
The month of May had been the odds-on favourite prior to Bob Ainsworth’s comments on Sky News, and his mention of May 6th as the crucial date was enough for us to close the book, said Coral spokesman David Stevens.
