England may not be the favourites for next year’s world cup but they are William Hill‘s 7/4 jollies to win the right to host the tournament in 2018.

Hills also offer 9/4 Spain-Portugal; 3/1 Australia; 9/2 Russia; 20/1 Holland- Belgium; 25/1 Japan; 33/1 USA; 50/1 Indonesia.

‘England seem to have all the necessary facilities in place to host a World Cup but it remains to be seen whether the politics of world football will enable them to win the right to do so’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Meanwhile, England are 5/1 second favourites with William Hill to win the 2010 World Cup for which Spain are 9/2 favourites with Brazil the 11/2 third favourites.
