Ireland’s largest bookmaker, Paddy Power, have offered 14-time Major Champion Tiger Woods a sponsorship deal worth $1m to promote their new betting product “Tigers Birdies”.
The new bet, which is exclusive to Paddy Power, offers a return of 500/1 to customers who correctly predict the number of birdies holed by Tiger each day over the four days of a tournament.
Paddy Power have offered Tiger Woods one million US dollars for an initial 12-month contract plus an undisclosed share of profits generated from the “Tigers Birdies” bet.
Paddy Power said “Regardless of recent events Tiger remains the world! ‘s number one golfer (sorry Padraig!). He’s obviously down on his luck right now so we’re delighted to reach out and offer Tiger the opportunity to lend his name to Paddy Power golf betting”
