Saturday’s jumps cards aren’t the best so the day’s sole selection comes from Kempton. Andrew Balding has started the season well and had a double at this track just three days ago and his MOUNT ATLAS (2:40) looked progressive when last seen. A winner at Ascot in July, the Masar gelding showed he can go well after a break when finishing runner-up in the Old Rowley Cup in October. He travelled well to lead that day, suggesting the slightly shorter trip shouldn’t be a problem and he has run well over this course-and-distance previously. The four-year-old can land the Roseberry Handicap.
