Although he has been disappointing since arriving from France, SAUVIGNON (2:45) drops in class at Ascot on Sunday and is worth chancing under top-weight. A Listed winner at Auteuil (beat the 134-rated Sony Bill), he has raced in a couple of Grade 2s since joining Paul Nicholls and might appreciate this lesser company off 128 (was 138 when arriving in Britain).
