Austria were supposedly dark horses in this competition, although one point from games against Hungary and Portugal mean that victory against Iceland is required to reach the last sixteen.
Marcel Koller’s side are warm favourites at 21/20 (Ladbrokes) although they haven’t yet looked like winning a game and were fortunate to come away with a point in their last match.
Iceland have arguably better team spirit and came close to beating the Hungarians, with BetVictor going 29/10 about Lars Lagerback’s side getting the win that put them through instead.
With Austria having failed to score and looking flat, an Iceland win to nil can be backed at 11/2 (Sky Bet) for a speculative punt and perhaps they will edge this game.
