A faller when last seen in the EBF Final at Sandown Classic Move (4:20) has been dropped 2lb by the handicapper and is worth taking a chance on in the ‘Fixed Brush’ novices’ handicap hurdle at Haydock on Saturday.
Donald McCain’s Sedgefield bumper winner finished third in a decent contest over course-and-distance on his hurdles debut, before scoring easily in deep ground at Bangor and Catterick.
Today’s sounder surface shouldn’t be a problem and, with the EBF Final working out well (third and fourth, Doctor Harper and Brother Brian, have come out and won decent handicaps since), Noel Fehily’s mount is worth backing at 5/1 with Paddy Power.
