Live on Sky Sports 3: Fri 10:30 Angus Loughran previews this week’s Hyundai Tournament of Champions .
The 2013 PGA Tour Season gets under way in Hawaii this week with 32 winners from 2012 hoping to get their campaign off to a flyer but with no Rory McLlroy or Tiger Woods taking up their option to play it has a distinct low key feel to it although it is like The Lincoln for flat racing fans very popular to punt on although very tough to find the winner.
Matt Kuchar heads the market at 12/1 with Betway and should go well but Dustin Johnson is the player I want on my side this week on a course where the big hitters have a huge advantage and Dustin is one of the longest drivers in the game today at 13/1 he should give backers a really good run for your money at William Hill
Stan James are wanting to be best price everyone this week and Keegan Bradley at 15/1 will be popular. Bradley produced his best at Firestone in 2012 and is rapidly developing into one of the Worlds leading players and has a great chance of adding further Majors to his 2011 PGA Title.
Carl Pettersson is the bigger price player who appeals most this week at 22/1 he played really well he last season and was placed in his opening event in 2010 and 2011 and this popular American based Swede should once again reward each way backers with a good run for their money.
The first full field event is next week in Honolulu and 2013 promises to be another thrilling action packed year on PGA tour.
Good luck
Angus Loughran
