Live on SS1 & 3: Thu 06.00 & 20.00: Angus Loughran previews this week’s Ballantine Champs and also the Zurich Classic. Selections
Adam Scott heads the market for the Ballantines Championship in Korea at 8/1 with Skybet but looks poor value although he could easily win.
The locals will be desperate for a home win and, despite missing the cut in China last week, YE Yang should have plenty of supporters at 25/1 (Boylesports) which looks a decent price.
After a snowboarding injury at Christmas Paul Casey is on the comeback trail and this is a huge week for him. At 45/1 via Sportingbet, he is a huge price and has enough ability to cause a shock this week.
Luke Donald heads the market at 12/1 with Betfred and bids to regain the World number 1 spot at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
I think Webb Simpson is due a good week here and looks value at 22/1 (Totesport) while Nick Watney also looks over the odds at 33/1, courtesy of William Hill.
Bubba Watson, the Masters Champion, and Keegan Bradley, 2011 PGA winner, are also in the field while the other two whose odds appeal are Bud Cauley, at 50/1 with Paddy Power (who is very much on my current radar), and David Toms, who is huge at Ladbrokes at 66/1.
Good luck
Angus Loughran
