Live on SS2 & 3: Thu 07.00 & 20.00: Angus Loughran previews this week’s Malaysian Open and the RBC Heritage. Selections.
South African duo Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel (both 12/1 with Totesport) will both be in Malaysia this week after a gruelling week at Augusta along with German Martin Kaymer (12/1, Betfred) but it may pay to side with the fresher players this week.
Matteo Manessero won here last year and has already had two decent finishes this year and looks decent value at 16/1, courtesy of Boylesports, while Simon Dyson at 50/1 with bet365 and David Horsey 70/1 with Blue Square both look decent each way value.
Bud Cauley also missed Augusta and must be followed on the PGA Tour and looks a decent price at 40/1 (Sportingbet) in The Heritage in South Carolina.
Bo Van Pelt shot the best round of the week on Sunday with his closing 64 and looks real value at Paddy Power at 22/1 while those that like the bigger prices should look to Swede Freddie Jacobson at 66/1 with Ladbrokes.
Good luck
Angus Loughran
